Publicity

It was such an honor to be one of the few selected artists to be shortlisted for the Hertfordshire Life Magazine 'Landscape artist of the year' competition. I had painted "Poppies in Sandridge" for myself to remember a perfect summers day. I hope the new owners of the painting love it as much as I do.

I was delighted that an image of my painting "Woodfarm sunset" was chosen  to advertise the exhibition in Rothamsted, hosted by the Harpenden Arts Club and featuring members' artwork.

I have been taking part in the summer exhibition organised by the St Albans Art Society and really enjoyed participating in July. It was an extra and unexpected bonus to be praised by the society's Chairman in the latest issue of PRISM, for my painting "Under the Sandridge skies". Thank you!

    Hi Meggie,

We chatted at the market this morning (we talked about ‘manipulating’ images!).

I’m the Parish Clerk in Sandridge (this is the local council, not the church), covering Sandridge, Marshalswick and Jersey Farm. Looking on your website, I see a lot of your work is local to Sandridge - would you like to do a feature in our magazine called Neighbourhood News? It would need to feature a couple of your local paintings and some background on yourself. There would be no charge to you.
Have a look at our website to see the format of the magazine - it’s delivered to 5,000 local homes so would be a good way to raise your profile locally. We’ll also have an event on the Jersey Farm Woodland Park next Summer that you could exhibit in. I hope this is of interest, it would be lovely to hear from you. I enjoyed your website very much.

    Best wishes,

    Simon
